About

I am passionate about graphic design, and if there is a style common to my diverse body of work, it is my clean and organized approach. I strive to create compelling, easily digestible content. Design is not merely about creating visually appealing images or layouts; it involves deep consideration of typography, color theory, composition, and user experience. I always take these factors into account, mindful of my ultimate goals and their impact on my audience.

In my marketing work, I know I may have only a moment to capture the viewer's attention. My work must be immediately comprehensible to succeed. However, it cannot stop at mere clarity; it must also grab the viewer, draw them in, and ultimately compel them to take the next step.

I feel fortunate that my experience as a designer has led me to live out my very own rock ’n’ roll fantasy. I work for a world-renowned, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-inducted band considered among the most elegant, refined, and important in their genre. The band is called Yes, and they are still going strong, now in their 56th year. I design their contemporary album packages and concert tour merchandise, as well as several series of back-catalog reissues. Additionally, I write the liner notes for these album releases and concert programs, some of which are more like novellas, weighing in at up to 50,000 words. I have also toured the world with them as their official photographer. I am proud to produce work that honors their legacy.

As independent as the life of a designer can be, I love to teach and mentor, and to be part of a team working towards common goals. I instruct and mentor new employees on the creative side of the office, swiftly demystifying the unfamiliar work environment. I ensure that staff quickly become confident and capable, fostering their independence and integration as valued contributors to the company, while reinforcing their importance to the team and instilling a sense of pride and fulfillment in their work. In other words, I not only teach tasks effectively but also highlight the many positive aspects of the job and environment, so they feel invested, enthused, and eager to remain loyal team members. Training and mentoring are among the most fulfilling aspects of my job.
